Following the successful completion of a trial pavement section, our company has been selected to carry out comprehensive asphalt works along the entire 11.6-kilometre stretch of the S19 expressway between Babica and Jawornik – part of the strategic Via Carpatia route, which connects Northern and Southern Europe.

The scope of work includes pavement construction on the main carriageway, service roads, additional lanes, and adjacent national, county, and municipal roads. In total, we will lay 171,500 tonnes of mineral-asphalt mix, with 11,000 tonnes already completed.

This is a highly demanding engineering project – the route runs through mountainous terrain and includes eight viaducts (the longest measuring 1.15 km and built on 80-metre-high pillars), five overpasses, and dedicated wildlife crossings.

The project is scheduled to be completed at the end of August 2026.
