We are pleased to announce that we have been invited to participate in the project “Mining Heritage as a Space for Social Activity – Inventory and Assessment of Its Potential in Poland.”

The project is being carried out by the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. Its objective is to identify, inventory and assess the potential of reclaimed post-mining sites and facilities in Poland, as well as to analyse their significance for social development, education, tourism, recreation and the preservation of mining heritage.

As a participant in the project, we will support the implementation of the planned activities by sharing our knowledge and experience. We are pleased to be involved in an initiative that will contribute to a better understanding and promotion of Poland’s mining heritage, while also identifying opportunities to leverage it for social and regional development.

The project is financed from the state budget through funding awarded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education under the “Science for the Development of Society” programme.
